Mark The Shark

Last summer I was having drinks with some friends and one of them mentioned that the year anniversary of his fathers passing was coming up and all three brothers wanted to get matching tattoos in his memory. He then showed me the sketch his mother made and asked me if I would take a swing. They wanted the letter “L” for their last name and his fathers nickname was “Mark the Shark” – hence the shark. I put my own spin on the idea and added some shading. He instantly loved it and a few days later had it tattooed over his heart. His youngest brother got his a couple weeks later on his shoulder. I am honored to have my artwork permanently tattooed not only on one person but three – especially for something so special and meaningful to their whole family.
